Over 120 Palmer members celebrated 95 years of Sisterhood and Loyalty on the Poet Campus at the Radisson in Uptown Whittier. Thank you to all who attended to make the event a success. The event kicked off with aforementioned Diamond Dream Campaign and Palmer Alumnae Endowed Scholarship Announcements. President Herzberger visited the event to personally congratulate the Palmer Society on reaching these milestones and having an ongoing positive impact as leaders on the Whittier College campus. We enjoyed a full brunch menu, a lovely slideshow sharing our history, great handcrafted raffle prizes and silent auction items, pictures, and of course singing! Truly a wonderful event.
Be sure to congratulate Chair Aristani Chavez '17, and committee members Lauren Galantai '17, Michelle Ordonez '18, Yadira Rodriguez ‘18, Kelcey Spencer '17, and Jessica Willis ‘17 and all the Palmer Actives on a job well done.
Every Palmer member is invited to Homecoming Brunch. Both Electronic and Paper invites are sent.
However, electronic brunch invitations are sent to the vast majority of Palmer alumnae. This is due impart to survey results demonstrating that that 88 percent of respondents were not interested in paying higher brunch prices in order to receive printed invitations. This feedback was taken to heart in an effort to help mitigate the overall rising costs of brunch.
Paper invitations are sent to:
Those members who are not in these above categories and our Green Homecoming volunteers will receive an electronic invite if they have an email address registered with Whittier College or the Palmer Society. Members who do not have an email registered are welcome to request their invitation at firstname.lastname@example.org or update their information using the Census page.
