The Alumnae Leadership Council is a new alumnae group with the goal of building community and networking opportunities. The group was launched in 2010 at the Palmer Tea held in July and includes active representation. One of the council’s major projects is to build support for the Palmer Endowed Alumnae Scholarship. The group currently meets in person in the Whittier area and has expanded to utilize teleconferencing technologies to meet diverse locations and schedules. Nearly all respondents from the 2012 Alumnae Assessment Survey want to receive communications from the society. The most preferred methods of communication are email, the website, and Facebook. Most invites to society events will be sent via email.
